Since November 2024, Triple lives on as Hypersolid — the name of our global technology and brand experience company. The new name followed the successful merger of Triple, code d’azur, Wonderland, and Connect2Crowd. Since then, several additional companies have joined the group.

What has changed?
In many ways, not much. The people you’ve worked with are still here. The way we collaborate hasn’t fundamentally changed. Our standards remain the same.
What has changed is the scale and scope of what we can deliver.
Through the merger, everything Triple stood for became part of something larger: one company that combines deep technical expertise with creative ambition to help businesses move further, faster. Hypersolid delivers digital experience platforms that are hyper-engaging, built on a solid foundation of technology and data.
The story of Triple
Triple was founded in 1998 by four Quake clan members who decided to channel their technical talent into building real-world impact. They began by building printers. But their ambition quickly outgrew the hardware.
By 2002, Triple had already established itself as a technological pioneer, becoming the first in Europe to bring video streaming to mobile phones — long before they were considered smartphones. Soon after, we helped launch the era of on-demand mobile video with the Film1 iOS app. Innovation wasn’t a phase, it became a pattern.
A few milestones along the route:
- De Gouden Kooi (2006): Delivered 24/7 live streaming from a house equipped with continuous video monitoring for John de Mol’s groundbreaking reality production.
- Mobile Viewpoint (2010): Reinvented live broadcasting by bonding multiple mobile IP connections, eliminating the need for satellite trucks at events. Acquired by Vislink in 2021.
- GTST 5000 (2014): For the Netherlands’ longest-running soap series, we made it possible to follow an additional storyline via a second screen alongside the regular broadcast. A world-first in broadcast history.
- Vinson (2014): Our spin-off offers a white-label mobile TV platform for broadcasters and distributors to deliver live TV and video-on-demand across smartphones and tablets.
- Beyond Sports (2014): Blended technology and sports through virtual recreations that generated insights and enhanced training methods, including in the lead-up to the 2014 World Cup. The company became independent in 2018 and was acquired by Sony in 2022, where it went on to earn multiple Emmy Awards.
- First chatbot (2015): Long before the current wave of AI, we developed our first chatbot. Connected to internal systems, it could respond in a content- and context-aware manner, enabling natural, human-like conversations 24/7.
- Max Verstappen (2016): From the outset, we believed in Max Verstappen’s potential and helped shape his athlete brand by developing his brand book and designing his now-iconic helmet.
- Team Gullit (2018): Founded the first independent EA Sports FC academy. Beyond redefining sports marketing, Team Gullit won the FIFAe World Cup multiple times. Acquired by Team Liquid in 2025.
- Contactless travel experience (2020): Led the transformation of citizenM’s digital ecosystem across the website, mobile app, in-room tablet and TV, and check-in kiosks. The result was an app-first, fully contactless guest journey that proved especially relevant during the COVID-19 era and received international recognition, including a Red Dot Design Award.
- Great Place to Work (2023): With a score of 85%, we earned the most definitive "Employer-of-Choice" recognition. An impressive 95% of our colleagues said they would recommend us as an employer.
Over the years, Triple grew into a team of more than 250 technologists and creatives, with expertise spanning frontend and backend development, data & analytics, AI, media, UX/UI design, strategy, and managed services.
We built long-term partnerships with global brands including Heineken, VodafoneZiggo, KLM, RTL, and AFC Ajax. We launched over 150 platforms and apps, consistently ranked among the top three full-service digital agencies in the Netherlands, and received over 80 industry awards.
