Transforming space into a connected, intelligent experience.
Google has long shaped how people interact with technology at a global scale. That ambition does not stop at screens in our hands or tools in the cloud. It extends into the physical world. Across a global fleet of experience centers, offices, and events, Google brings together hundreds of thousands of employees and welcomes thousands of partners every day into spaces designed to spark curiosity, learning, and connection.
Each of these spaces relies on digital screens to tell stories and bring ideas to life. Yet as the network of locations grew, so did the complexity. Google needed a way to connect these environments through a single, unified digital foundation. One that could scale globally, adapt locally, and turn many screens into one coherent experience.
To make that possible, Google partnered with Hypersolid to create Taboret.

Making spaces behave like interfaces
Taboret is a design system, software framework, and SDK that brings together design and technology to define how digital content behaves in physical environments. It provides the foundation for building applications for immersive environments and spatial experiences. By connecting every screen in a space and orchestrating them as one system, it creates a seamless, responsive, and intelligent experience across locations and formats.
Accessibility and neuro-inclusive design were foundational to the platform from the very beginning. Taboret was designed to support environments that work for neurodiverse audiences, shaping how motion, information density, interaction, and spatial storytelling are structured across screens. This ensures experiences remain clear, calm, and understandable even in complex multi-display environments.
At its core, Taboret translates the logic of responsive design into the physical world. Content flows fluidly across displays, adapting in real time to scale, layout, and context. Whether in a single room or across an entire venue, the experience remains coherent, intentional, and alive.
Built with flexibility and scalability in mind, Taboret provides a global storytelling framework that allows Google to move faster while maintaining consistent, thoughtful experiences across its global spaces.

A shared belief in systems that last
From the outset, Taboret was built in close collaboration with Google’s Experience Platform team. Together, we defined how multiple displays could operate in sync and how design and technology could reinforce each other at scale.
As the Experience Platform Lead and team put it, “Our job isn’t to build the show. It’s to build the studio that makes every show possible.” That mindset became a guiding principle throughout the project. Technology was never the point. It was the enabler.
This partnership extended from early architectural thinking through to global rollout. Google engineers, designers, and stakeholders collaborated closely with our team to ensure the framework was robust, scalable, and future-ready. Every decision reflected a shared belief in long-term value over short-term solutions.
Composable at its core
Taboret is built as a flexible, agnostic framework. Aligned with Hypersolid’s composable philosophy, it integrates with a wide range of content sources and data platforms without locking Google into a single backend or toolchain.
A central technical layer keeps all displays perfectly aligned in real time, ensuring that every screen responds as part of a unified whole. On top of that, the Taboret Design System and Development Framework provide designers and developers with a clear foundation for creating, adapting, and evolving content quickly and consistently.
This approach makes Taboret resilient by design. It is built to grow with new technologies, new spaces, and new ambitions.
The architecture also opens the door to a new generation of intelligent spatial experiences. As AI capabilities evolve, the framework enables the possibility of agentic orchestration of environments, where systems can dynamically coordinate content, interactions, and spatial storytelling across screens and moments.

The role of AI
AI played an active role in the development of Taboret. Rather than being used as a novelty, intelligent tools became part of the day-to-day creative and technical workflow.
Gemini supported the team across concept development, code refinement, and automation. Custom-built Gems, trained on Taboret and related systems, allowed developers to ask complex questions about architecture, logic, and design patterns directly within their workflow. AI effectively became a living knowledge base for the platform.
NotebookLM served as a shared memory, capturing decisions, insights, and context as the system evolved. Together, these tools reduced friction, preserved clarity, and allowed the team to focus on shaping a cohesive vision instead of managing complexity.

Innovation that holds at global scale
Today, Taboret powers connected digital environments across Google’s global network of spaces. Screens move and respond as one, creating environments that can be configured quickly and adapted in real time. From intimate sessions to large-scale international events, the system scales without losing coherence or intent.
Within the Google Experience Platform Ecosystem, Hypersolid continues to collaborate on new solutions and immersive content that build on this foundation.
Together, this work represents a long-term partnership grounded in trust, craft, and shared ambition. A commitment to shaping intelligent environments that are globally connected, deeply adaptable, and fundamentally human.
